I have been wanting to do a cool editorial shoot in my backyard for FOREVER! Seeing Erin Brookhart on Instagram, I knew she was the perfect model. Even though I’ve done water shoots before, I wanted to make this one unique from the rest by adding vintage props. I directed Erin to pose in the water, rip out pages from the book, and place them in the water to float alongside her. Towards the end, the horses that live on the property made an unexpected appearance and ended up stealing the show!
