In the heart of Redmond, love blossomed against the backdrop of an old motel that holds stories of the past. The idea of blending vintage aesthetics with a modern touch was the vision behind Rachel and Alex’s elopement portrait session. Their desire for a cinematic wedding shoot that told their story in a unique way led us to an abandoned motel in Redmond.

With that in mind, I encouraged Rachel and Alex to have separate shoot days for their wedding portraits. This allowed them to unwind and be completely themselves. Which resulted in photographs that exude genuine emotions and authentic connections.

A few weeks after their elopement in Redmond, Oregon Rachel and Alex’s wedding portrait session unfolded.
